The ViaBlue ™ SC-6 AIR Silver loudspeaker cable transmits the three frequency ranges high, medium and low frequencies on 6 individual wires in a circular arrangement, isolated from each other. The spatial separation of the individual conductors is created by the ViaBlue ™ Airpipe system. Due to the resulting distances between the individual frequency ranges, the intermediate currents occurring during signal transmissions are drastically reduced and a completely real and unadulterated sound is made possible.
Selected, chemically pure OFC copper is used as the conductor base material. The complex cable system consisting of a total of 36 signal conductors and thus 684 individual strands with a total cross-section of 15 mm² and 10 specially arranged airpipes has a total diameter of 26 mm.
The SC-6 AIR Silver loudspeaker cable has 6 main conductors, divided in pairs into the 3 frequency filters high, mid and low range ideal for all conceivable areas of application such as single wire, bi-wire, bi-amping and tri-wire.
Each of the 6 main conductors is divided into 6 further sub-conductors, which are arranged in a circle around an airpipe. A sub-conductor consists of 19 strands, with silver plating for the high-frequency range enabling clear, detailed, brilliant highs, tinned strands transferring the mid-range precisely and accurately, and bare copper strands realizing powerful and clear bass.
By splitting the sub-conductors into 6-packs arranged in a circle, very low capacities of approx. 98 pF / m is reached, which is a prerequisite for complete and fast signal transmission and avoid the intermediate storage of charge in the cable itself.
The entire cable system is protected by soft banding and a flexible, silk-matt cable sheath.
The SC-6 AIR Silver speaker cable delivers an impressive sound image, even over long distances, thanks to the almost loss-free transmission of audio signals. The fine-tuning of the individual frequency ranges promises a natural and realistic music reproduction with a fine sense of every detail. The splitting of the individual frequency paths ensures brilliant, sharply defined musical elements that are depicted in impressive timbres. The free and airy overall picture creates an opulent space.
The SC-6 single-wire speaker cables are assembled with ViaBlue ™ T6s banana plugs. Optionally, the contacts can be replaced by unscrewing them with cable lug contacts or flexible pins contacts.
The SC-6 AIR Silver speaker cables are braided with the ViaBlue ™ Cobra protective fabric, which also visually shows the dynamics of the high-end speaker cable at first glance. The splitters typically used in ViaBlue ™ cables protect the cable ends against kinking and at the same time ensure professional and well thought-out cable routing for the individual wires.
