Modeled after the Classic 4-string Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay Bass, the Sterling by Music Man Ray4 MG-M1, available in an appealing Vintage Cream finish, is one of the founding members of the Sterling bass lineup. Featuring a vintage design with a comfortable 34“ scale length, the Ray4 delivers the bold sound that StingRay basses are famous for, with amazing playability, at a great price point.
Featuring a lightweight Basswood body with a comfortable Hard Maple neck and Jatoba fretboard, the Ray 4BK is on point in every way. The hard Maple neck has a 34" scale length, a 9.5" fingerboard radius, and a silky satin finish which makes it extremely comfortable to play in all musical situations.
The electronics include a Sterling by Music Man designed alnico humbucker pickup in the bridge position, paired with an active 2-band EQ that allows you to dial in the exact tone that you need. From thunderous low end tones, to bright and punchy treble notes, the Sterling by Music Man StingRay Ray4 covers a range of sonic territory. The hardware includes a solid Sterling by Music Man designed fixed bridge with open gear tuners, for stable tuning and rock solid intonation.
