Embossed brass is a vintage repoussé metalwork technique in which a malleable metal is ornamented or shaped by pressing or hammering from the reverse side to create a design in bas relief, this is sometimes called "beaten brass". The bottom is stamped MADE IN ENGLAND.
Peerage Brass of England History: 'Peerage' was the trade name for the earlier company “Pearson Page” of Birmingham, which is known to have operated pre -1900's. The Company produced original copper & brass ware with the height of production between 1910-1940's.
