Fender '59 Custom Shop NOS P Bass-
Here's a  beautiful example of the Custom shop from 2008. The neck date shows 3/6/2008 -
Specs-
This bass is a complete Custom Shop bass except for a few items and the Cert. My pictures show the Custom Traveler that Fender sent me on 12/7/2018. I haven't had time to go to a dealer to verify the bass in order to get a new cert. You can do that by taking it to you local Fender Dealer and they will help you. The cost is around . If I had the cert it would be worth more.
The stock gold guard was taken off and used on another bass. At the time of buying this bass I was putting together a '57 2 tone AVRI so on this one I wanted an early 60's look.  I purchased a 10 hole T shell guard ,here on Reverb, from Jimi at Fender Parts & Pickguards. He has the closest I could find without paying 400-600 for a real early 60's guard. There are NO extra holes. If you're looking to go back to the gold guard , you can find them here on Reverb or at you're favorite parts supplier. At this point I'd suggest the Pure Vintage versions like the current basses have. They have the thin lacquer skin which is AWESOME for cleaning. The ones from 2008 are bare.

You will notice, even though it's a NOS, the bass has natural linear checking- front and back. The bass is clean like all my basses for sale.
Tuners- Fender Reverse
Pickups- 59-62 P bass, as shown on the Traveler
Body- Wood sorted "Y"- this bass is very resonant.
Covers- Pickup and Bridge cover w/ screws
