For 12 Volt systems,charges at 14.6 VOLT set point, Fits Delco AD230, AD237, AD244 Series Alternators. CAN ALSO be used in THE DR44G AND DR37 ALTERNATORS WITH SLIGHT MODIFICATION TO THE ALTERNATOR to make the regulator sit level
B+ connection made at rectifier. The older SI type alternator self exciting voltage regulator required you to rev the motor to first start the alternator charging, this AD type  alternator self exciting voltage regulator starts charging  right away after motor start up.
