Description
: This blue on white pattern is similar to the popular "
Blue Willow
" design, but released in significantly fewer numbers and as a result much more difficult to find... especially in the secondary market. Although both use the same shade of blue,
Toile Blue
displays considerably more white background with simpler, less crowded images that to me, are more enjoyable. The scalloped surface was a nice touch adding some flair and texture.  Availability of individual pieces domestically is limited at best, and I've been unable to find a complete tea set anywhere, much less one in this condition.  It' would make an incredible gift for someone special... or yourself!
Condition
: Display set which remains pristine / MINT in every manner.  I found NO chips, cracks, crazing, scratches, water/mineral marks, discoloration, stains, repairs or any other cosmetic / structural issues. There is no evidence that any of these pieces were ever used.
The black bottomstamp is crisp, legible and certifies "
[Logo] Chuchill ~ Made in England ~ Microwave & Dishwasher Safe ~ Est 1795
".  The embossed porcelain also confirms "
