Upon inspection of the device,
I noticed the type of scuffs and scratches that happen with normal use.
There are noticeable scratches on the top, front, sides and bottom of the device.
There is some discoloration on the top of the device.
All ports and connectors are in good cosmetic condition.
The printhead is in good cosmetic condition.
The keyboard is free of any stuck or missing keys.
There are minor scratches on the screen.
I was able to power on the device.
The LCD shows no signs of dead pixels.
The touchscreen was tested to be working and I was able to navigate through menus. .
All top buttons and keyboard keys were tested to be working.
The USB ports were tested to be working.
I was able to insert an in-house printer ribbon to print test labels.
I was able to print one label and the print showed no sign of the printhead having dead pixels.
However, after the one label was printed out, the printer gave a ribbon out error (see picture #6).
I am unsure if the ribbon cartridge was bad or if the device needs to be repaired.
No further testing could be completed due to lack of knowledge and/or resources.
The device is sold as is for parts, repair or as a non-working item.
No printer ribbon is included.
