    Description

    Up for sale are two different semi-postal stamps issued in 1922 by Azerbaijan. The stamps were issued for famine / hunger relief, at 500 rubles each. One stamp is printed in dark blue, the other is lighter blue, printed on thin brownish paper. Scott Catalog number B1.
    Both stamps are imperforate, mint never hinged. Note the gum on the backs is inconsistent (see photo 2 here).
